Japanese people typically perform this ritual on New Year's Day or when setting a new goal.
第二步 | Step 2: 許願 👁️ Making Your Wish
- 雙手捧起達摩，放於心口前 | Hold Daruma with both hands at your heart
- 閉上眼睛，清晰說出您的願望 | Close eyes and clearly state your wish
- 用筆輕輕畫上左眼 | Gently paint the left eye

Don't worry. If messy, cover with white paint and redo. If wrong side, get a new Daruma and start fresh.
Q2: 願望未達成可以畫右眼嗎？ | Can I paint right eye early?
絕對不可。 | Absolutely not.
右眼只能在愿望真正實現時才可描畫。如果尚未達成就提前畫上，傳統上認為會「洩氣」，愿望可能失效。
The right eye can only be painted when truly fulfilled. Painting early may cause the wish to fail.
Q3: 需要等多久才還願？ | How long to wait?
沒有時間限制。有人一個月就達成，有人等三年。最重要的是真正達成後才描畫。達摩不會催促您，它會一直降伴您左右。
No time limit. Some achieve in a month, others wait three years. Daruma won't rush you.
Q4: 可以替人描畫嗎？ | Can someone else paint?
